Formal syntactic analysis is methodologically powerful and precise because of its mathematical line of argumentation and diversity of data analysis and argumentation. A researcher who works in this theoretical frameworks can improve the degree of accuracy of the results by evaluating them against the typological facts of the language. Since Typological studies are on the basis of huge amount of data and tested from different perspectives in comparison with other languages, they produce reliable facts about a language. To show how it works, two papers are chosen and described in this research and argued that since their results are not confirmed by typological specifications of Persian language, they might not be reliable. One of these papers is on the position of head in functional projections of the sentence in Persian (whether they are left-headed or right-headed) and the other one in on Topicalisation in Persian, movement or in-situ. Both of the results cost for Persian Typology false results.
